The Wellness Community - The Diney Goldsmith Center is holding their 4th Annual Invitational Golf Classic on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 at the exclusive Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, NJ. 

This event brings together an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable golf experience while raising funds to support a cause that affects more and more people every day - cancer.   Proceeds from the event will benefit support programs and services for people with cancer and their loved ones provided by The Wellness Community - The Diney Goldsmith Center.  All programs are provided free of charge.

Once again, the tournament will take place at the exclusive Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, NJ.  Steeped in tradition, Hollywood Golf Club is a private regulation 18 hole course and is consistently selected by Golf Digest as one of the top ten courses in New Jersey and ranked #6 in New Jersey for Best Private Club Experience by Links Magazine.  The course has a rich history dating back to 1898 and was restored in 1998 by famed architect Rees Jones in the original Walter Travis design. 

Registration fees of $400 per golfer or $1500 per foursome includes a day of golf with carts, buffet lunch and hospitality tables on the course as well as a dinner celebration with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, awards, golfer gifts, prizes, and more!   Prizes will be awarded for individual low gross and net, team low gross and net, longest drive and closest to the pin. In addition, there will be an exciting par 3 shoot out to win a 50” plasma TV!

All are invited to participate in the event to support this worthy cause. Those who prefer not to register for golf are invited to attend the awards dinner for a donation of $75 per person. Businesses can also get involved by taking advantage of one of the six available sponsorship opportunities. In addition, individuals who can’t attend the event but wish to help support The Wellness Community - The Diney Goldsmith Center are encouraged to send a donation.
