Jet Vac
Jet-Vacs are dual purpose trucks having both pumping and jetting capabilities.
They are used in municipal, commercial and industrial applications for vacuum cleaning of lift stations, ejector pits, storm sewers, catch basins, and others where heavy grit, sediment, sludge and other semi-solid and wet solid removal is needed. This machine is also used for low pressure, high water volume cleaning of pipes from 8” to 60” in diameter. The hydraulically driven dumping debris body is ideal for dumping solids into dewatering or roll off containers. Russell Reid’s Jet- Vac equipment combines a very powerful vacuum with a high-pressure water jetting system which operates up to 3000 PSI (pounds per square inch).
This equipment allows for thorough removal of solids and semi solids from lift stations, manholes, storm sewers, catch basins and other similar environments.

High Pressure Jetting
Our modern fleet of specialty equipment includes vehicles equipped with high pressure jetting machines which produce up to 4,000 pounds per square inch (p.s.i) of pressure.
The efficient and environmentally safe power of high pressure water jetting is used to scour and remove grease, sludge and other debris from all types of lines and surfaces. The process is safe to use on any type of piping and may be used in conjunction with power snaking or root cutting equipment.

Grease Traps

Our dedicated team utilizes specialized service equipments for maintaining grease traps. This includes large and small vacuum trucks and specialized utility vehicles with portable shop vacs to access more difficult, hard to access interior grease traps.
Grease traps need to be pumped and cleaned depending on how quickly they become full. The rate at which they become full is a function of: grease trap size, volume of food process, type of food process, housekeeping procedures, and countless other variables.
Grease traps are generally located either inside or outside of the facility. The smaller variety, 10 gallons to 100 gallons, are found inside of facilities under sinks or built into floors. The larger variety, 1000 gallons to 4,000 gallons or more, are found outside the facility in parking lots or near loading docks.

Russell Reid will send you a reminder to have your septic system cleaned periodically. Upon request, we will automatically schedule your service in advance. Some customers opt to have other buried infrastructure such as septic system inlets, outlets, adjacent sanitary connections and distribution boxes high pressure jetted with their service. Acid Neutralization Tanks
We provide the complete cleaning and recharging of acid neutralization tanks in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
Acid neutralization tanks are commonly found in schools, and hospitals or any facility that is required to neutralize laboratory wastewater prior to discharge into the sanitary sewer. Russell Reid is an expert in performing acid neutralization tank cleaning services. We work closely with manufactures of systems, and can supply limestone chips and perform calibrations. Our trained staff is prepared to come on site, conduct a system evaluation and propose a project plan and schedule a convenient service time.
